Returns & Exchanges

What is AKIN Gear's return policy?

We want you to absolutely love our shoes. If for any reason your order is not right for you, please reach out to us to start a return or an exchange. Returns must be unworn and in the original packaging.

How do I return an order?

To start a return, please email us at info@akingear.com. To process your return as quickly as possible, please include the reason for the return, your name, address and order number. Your order number is included on your order confirmation email. We will then follow up with simple instructions to complete your return.

    Can I exchange my order instead?

    Yes. We are happy to exchange any unworn shoes for a different size and/or color. To start an exchange, email us at info@akingear.com. To expedite the process, please include your name, address, order number and the new size/color preference. We will then follow up with simple instructions to complete your return.


    When will I be refunded?

    AKIN Gear will issue refunds within 48 hours of receiving the returned items (excluding weekends).

    What size should I order?

    SHIFT Driving sneakers run large. For the best fit, we recommend ordering a half size smaller than your typical size.

    The foot length, also known as the “heel-toe” length, is the distance from the heel to the longest point of the foot. To get the most accurate foot length measurement, use the tips below.

    • Place your feet flat on the floor and distribute your weight evenly.
    • Measure while wearing socks of a similar thickness you plan to wear with your AKIN Sneakers.
    • There can be variation between the left and right foot, so measure both before selecting your size.

    When will out of stock sizes be available?

    All AKIN driving sneakers are limited addition. We apologize if the size or color you are interested in is not currently available. But good news! We are always working on new models. Please sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of this page to get notified when new models and sizes become available.
